Per Requester: Fair Fit; This would be a new, highly selective systemic product that could help manage this weed that otherwise only has 1 control tool. It would give growers the opportunity to rotate MOAs when trying to manage Celastrus orbiculatus, and give them another option if they were worried about crop safety when using glyphosate:06/26;

| Reasons for need: |
Celastrus orbiculatus, Toxicodendron radicans. Primary is Celastrus orbiculatus. Glyphosate is the only other herbicide that can manage Celastrus orbiculatus, and many growers are worried about using glyphosate near their apple trees for crop safety. Current technologies: Some glyphosate use, some repeated burn-down throughout the season with a non-selective burn-down product, or some hand-pulling, which is very labor intensive:06/26;
