Reduced Risk Status: |
|
IPM Compatibility: |
Per Requester: Very Good Fit; This material is already incorporated into tomato systems, which are grown in rotation with dry beans. This material is a soil bait so it is not a broad use for all insect pests. I do not have data for this request but since it is used in tomato I hope regional efficacy data is available elsewhere.
|
Reasons for need: |
darkling beetle. Darkling beetle is an increasing problem in dry beans. They are moving from adjacent wheat and tomato fields and causing severe damage to seedlings:07/24;

Comments: |
IR-4 determined this status to be NO-DATA, CROP GROUP/SUBGROUP TOLERANCE REVISION, and included the specific commodities of garbanzo, lima bean & blackeyed pea, where the tolerance is already established, but it appears that the established tolerance and label directions is for a foliar use and not a bait:07/24/sb;
