Requester is specifically requesting commodity of Agave teguilana; possible exports to Japan & Taiwan in the future (nothing at this time), Asparagus is the rep crop for crop group 22;05/24; The Insecticide is intended for use in agave that will not be allowed to flower and reproduce. It will only be used in agave where the flowering stalks will not be allowed to grow. The appearance of a flowering stalk indicates that the crop is ready for harvest. However, once the flowering stalk appears, it is cut-off immediately to prevent the growth of the flowering stalk--the stalk is not allowed to grow, and flowers are never allowed to grow or appear. The stalk is cut and destroyed.:06/24/sb; Bayer has requested status update from Under Eval to Mfg "HOLD" at this time:07/24/sb; EPA HOLD CAUTION:08/24;
