Per requester, Very Good Fit. This allows for a more diverse herbicide rotation over 2-yr period. Is eff on amaranthus species to allow farmers to achieve effective weed control prior to planting & improve overall weed control. VGF:NER. VGF:NER & FG:NJ:given the declining likelihood of new herb registrations for specialty crops due to high regulatory costs & limited market returns, reducing current plantback restriction intervals becomes essential. Shortening these restrictions—which can extend beyond 18 months—would enable specialty crop growers to follow well-managed agronomic rotations that eff suppress weed populations & seed banks. This approach leverages the extensive herb toolboxes available in commodity crops like corn & soybeans to benefit specialty crop production, compensating for the limited chemical options available in these vulnerable cropping systems:08/25;

CURRENTLY THE LABEL DOES NOT ALLOW FOR ROTATING TO SNAPBEANS THE FOLLOWING SEASON. BEING ABLE TO USE SULFENTRAZONE IN ROTATIONAL CROPS WILL ALLOW FOR A MORE DIVERSE HERBICIDE ROTATION OVER A 2-YR PERIOD. IT WILL ALLOW FARMERS TO ACHIEVE EFFECTIVE WEED CONTROL PRIOR TO PLANTING SNAPBEANS AND IMPROVE OVERALL CONTROL; NJ: Given the restricted herbicide options available for snap bean production, implementing comprehensive weed management strategies in preceding crops becomes essential to minimize weed seed bank contributions and reduce subsequent weed emergence pressure:09/25; TN: Current use of sulfentrazone in lima bean and edamame is limited due to rotation concerns. Allowing for an earlier rotation to snap bean following application would provide a much needed weed control option to be used in edamame and lima bean in TN:06/26;
