IPM Compatibility: |
PER REQUESTOR VERY GOOD FIT; THIS USE IS A VERY GOOD FIT FOR IPM. S-METOLACHLOR PROVIDES 3 TO 5 WEEKS OF RESIDUAL CONTROL DEPENDING ON SOIL TYPES AND RATES, AND DELAYED RESIDUAL APPLICATION WOULD ALLOW FOR A LONGER PERIOD OF CHEMICAL CONTROL OF A GROUP 15 HERBICIDE. THIS APPROACH IS COMPATIBLE WITH AN IN-CROP CULTIVATION (ALMOST ALL OF OUR LIMA BEAN ACREAGE IS CULTIVATED). I AM NOT AWARE OF ANY ISSUES WITH POLLINATORS OR OTHER BENEFICIAL ORGANISMS. 01/21
|
Reasons for need: |
NO EFFECTIVE POSTEMERGENCE HERBICIDES FOR LIMA BEANS DUE TO WIDE SPREAD HERBICIDE RESISTANCE; GROUP 2 (ALS) RESISTANT WEED SPECIES, PRIMARILY AMARANTHUS SPECIES 01/21
