Reasons for need: |
Gray tail vole; Vole populations in Oregon are continually building and even their "low population" cycles are higher than before. The only rodenticide currently registered is zinc phosphide. We are experiencing bait shyness to ZnP which is limiting the level of successful control. Crop damages from voles are significant with losses recorded as high as 80% loss. Voles are a perennial problem for grass seed growers:08/23

Broadcast ground application. Aerial application would be a valuable option so that applications can be made when field conditions are too wet/soft for ground applicators. Apply at 10 lbs/A, 3 applications, 10-14 RTI, 0 day PHI
