Reasons for need: |
Removing the flower/drupe is desirable to enhance yield. Currently, this achieved through intensive labor which is difficult to find and expensive. Labor crews moving through the plantings cause plant damage and pathogen spread. This growth regulator serves to cause abscission of the flower so that the drupe/seed doesn't form.
