TWO TREATMENTS SUFFOIL-X (MINERAL OIL, APPLIED AT 256 OZ/100 GAL) AND VENERATE XC (BURKHOLDERIA SPP. STRAIN A396, APPLIED AT 128 OZ/A) WERE TESTED AGAINST THRIPS INFESTING ORGANIC FIELD-GROWN TOMATO PLANTS AS A SOLO PRODUCT AND IN ROTATION WITH NOFLY WP (ISARIA FUMOROSEA, APPLIED AT 32 OZ/100 GAL) AND ENTRUST SC (SPINOSAD, APPLIED AT 8 OZ/A) RESPECTIVELY. A TOTAL OF 6 APPLICATIONS WERE MADE AT A RE-TREATMENT INTERVAL OF 7 DAYS. TREATMENTS WERE TANK MIXED WITH THE ADJUVANT OROBOOST AT 32 OZ/100 GAL. THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE TREATMENTS AND UNTREATED PLOTS WERE NOT SIGNIFICANT. ISARIA FUMOROSEA ALTERNATED TO MINERAL OIL AND BURKHOLDERIA SPP. SHOWED SOME SUPPRESSION UNDER LOW PEST PRESSURE. BURKHOLDERIA SPP. REDUCED POPULATIONS THE MOST WHEN THEY WERE THE HIGHEST. PHYTOTOXICITY WAS NOT OBSERVED.
