CROP SAFETY TRIALS AT UC-DAVIS, EFFICACY TRIAL AT GROWER LOCATION. IMAZAMOX APPLIED REPEATEDLY AT 9.6, 19.2, 28.8 OR 38.4 G AI/HA OR IMAZAPIC AT 4.8 G AI/HA. GROWER TRIAL ALSO INCLUDED DRIP CHEMIGATION APPLICATIONS OF RIMSULFURON (25 G AI/HA) AND ACIBENZOLAR (26.2 OR 52.4 G AI/HA) . SULFOSULFURON: APPLIED PPI AT 37.5 G AI/HA ALONE OR PRIOR TO MOST OF THE CHEMIGATION TREATMENTS. NO INJURY AND NO YIELD REDUCTION. IMAZAMOX: INITIAL CROP INJURY FROM THE THREE HIGHER RATES RANGED FROM 8-35% AT UC-DAVIS BUT ONLY THE HIGHEST RATE HAD >5% INJURY 4 WEEKS AFTER LAST APPLICATION. INJURY FROM HIGHER RATES MORE SEVERE AND LASTING AT GROWER SITE. NO SIGNIFICANT YIELD REDUCTION AT UC-DAVIS SITES. SIGNIFICANT YIELD LOSS FROM THE TWO HIGHEST RATES AT GROWER SITE. IMAZAPIC: NO INJURY AT UC-DAVIS SITES. SLIGHT TEMPORARY INJURY AT GROWER SITE. NO YIELD REDUCTION. RIMSULFURON: NO CROP INJURY REPORTED. NO YIELD REDUCTION. ACIBENZOLAR: NO CROP INJURY REPORTED.
